Situation Report: Living Safely is a global health promotion and delivery NGO.... Radiation dangers continue for many parts of Japan and beyond due to possible nuclear plant explosion and/or core meltdown in Sendai.... The explosions and radioactivity caused by the 9.0 Earthquake and subsequent Tsunami of March 11, 2011 remain somewhat uncontrolled and represent a clear and present danger to all life in the area.... The emergency is currently classed as a Level 7 Event on the United Nations' IAEA scale of nuclear disasters, its highest level.... The Japanese government-mandated evacuation zone may not be sufficient for short-term safety or long-term health... We continue our evacuation advice: do not enter or stay in Japan. If evacuation is not possible, stay inside as much as you can with windows shut and ventilation systems off. There is a possibility not all relevant health and safety information is being disclosed so we urge extreme caution.... We continue to warn against all but essential travel to Bahrain, Colombia, Egypt, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, Pakistan, Philippines, Tunisia and all travel to Libya, due to risk of injury or death... US hurricane season began Wednesday, June 1. Plan; prepare; survive... In the medical, dental or healthcare communities? Drop by @LS_Medical, Living Safely's new Twitter channel just for you! Regular updates sent via our @LivingSafely Twitter channel and mirrored on our Living Safely Facebook page... This message will repeat...
Welcome to Living Safely!
Living Safely™ is a global health promotion and delivery non-governmental organization ("NGO"). We provide a variety of lifestyle, education, travel and other books for active people taking charge of their own safety, happiness and health. We also market several products that can help you lead a safer, happier and healthier life.

While all our books and products can help you live safer, some deal specifically with day-to-day safety and health and others concentrate on the more esoteric metaphor of safe travel through life itself. This is why we offer books about growing up well, surviving disasters, protecting your privacy and staying healthy throughout your entire life.

We also use various social media including Twitter, Facebook and others to keep people around the world informed about various health, safety, travel, medical and other issues. These free services run 24-hour, seven days a week, every day of the year. Yes, we take your health, safety and happiness seriously! :-)
